Ethics

In common with other counsellors and psychotherapists, I abide by the ethics of my professional body, in my case, the BACP.  This means your sessions are confidential.  I would only disclose details about you in extreme circumstances when required by law to do so.

In addition to this, in common with other energy therapists, I use applied kinesiology or muscle testing as a discernment tool.  I apply a light pressure to your wrist to gauge the muscle tone and we “listen” to the results together.  (This can be adapted if you have an injury or have an aversion to being touched, or if we are working on-line).  Applied kinesiology is an integral part of the therapy.  No previous knowledge of this approach is needed.  However, I invite you to be open minded and willing to give this a go before you arrive for your first session.
